About Us :

Caravan Engineers was established in the year 1973 under the leadership of the Proprietor Mr. Anand Y.Kale. Now it is an ISO-9001:2000 Registered Company for Manufacture and Supply of OilSeals, ‘O’ Rings and Rubber Moulded Articles. Right from the beginning we had the urge to excel and we at Caravan keep on innovating new techniques for the consistent quality of our products. We have Engineers and Rubber Technologists working in our team assisted by dedicated workforce.

Product Applications :

Caravan Engineers is into manufacturing of Oil-Seals , 'O' Rings , Rubber Moulded Articles and Metal Bonded Articles. The specialization is in manufacturing of Oil-Seals in various polymers like Viton , Silicon , Nitrile , Polyacrylic. Caravan has latestly developed whole new range of PTFE oilseals and is approved for many critical applications by O.E.M`S.

Caravan Engineers is catering to all major Automobile , Industrial Engine Manufacturers all over India. In the automobile segment we are supplying oilseals like Gearbox Seals, Crankshaft Seals, Engine Seals, Hub Seals, Camshaft Seals, Axle Seals and Valve Stem Seals.

For Industrial Engines we are supplying oilseals to all applications. We are also supplying to Tractor Manufacturers, Heavy Genset Manufacturers, Steering Gear Manufacturers ( Manual & Power Assisted), and Home Appliance companies.

We supply our product either with our logo “caravan” or the "customers logo" ,as desired by our clients.

Machinary and Process Setup :

The factory and the registered office is located at Plot No.38, Gultekdi,Poona Small Scale Industrial Co-op Estate Ltd., Pune-411 037,Maharashtra, India. The factory is centrally located & spread over a large area with all the requsite machinery, SPM processing equipments , tool room machines and fully developed testing laboratory.

Caravan adopts the latest methods like CAD /CAM for complete design and development of products by experienced Engineers in the full fledged inhouse toolroom.

Caravan has a team of Rubber Technologists who develop the correct compound from the required polymers suitable to the application as desired by our customers parameters and specifications.These compounds are then tested completely inhouse regularly for their physical properties like elongation, ash content , oil & oven ageing, specific gravity etc on testing equipments like Muffel Furnace , Tensile Tester and the profiles of oilseal are studied on Shadow Graph for optimum performance of our end product. We also have a Chemical Laboratory to test analytical chemical properties of the raw materials which we use to manufacture our products.

Caravan has the best manufacturing machinery setup inhouse with Compression Hydraulic Presses for non-critical oilseals and latest Vacuum Hydraulic Presses for all critical application oilseals.We have senior engineers working hand in hand for zero defect products.

Caravan has all the needed Special Purpose Processing Machinery installed and operated by motivated skilled labour . The products manufactured adhere strictly to the quality standards due to in process inspection and 100% visual final inspection.

Caravan has state of art Testing Laboratory with ultra modern testing equipment to test the performance of our end product, like Endurance Testing and Lip Opening Pressure Machine.
